About me....

I started on my herbal journey about 3 decades ago! I was in a bad way with hormonal issues, digestive issues and emotional ups and downs.  I had tried various "health routes" to get help but nothing seemed to work.  I had a bit of an interest in herbal medicine at that stage and had started researching healthy foods and healthier lifestyles and then stumbled on a herbalist here in Christchurch, who helped me get back on track through herbal medicine as well as lifestyle changes. It sparked me to combine my desire to help people with the natural world, and so I embarked on a long journey of studying herbalism through an institute in NZ as well as one in the United States.  I completed a certification as well as a diploma in herbalism, but actually still continue to study and learn about the plants.  I grow nearly all of my medicines at home, and the rest are wildcrafted as I don't believe I can truly know the plants and their personalities unless I spend time with them and grow them from seed.  Plus they make very potent medicine! I am extremely passionate about helping people and if you come to see me you will have my full commitment to giving you the best possible treatment plan and advice that I can give.  I look forward to meeting you one day soon!
